Had this bottle a few weeks ago but omitted to write a tasting note. So all I can say about the wine in particular is that I remember it being a good price-quality ratio. There was good concentration for the money. Seigneurs d’Aiguilhe is made by German super-winemaker Graf von Neipperg, who among estates in Germany and Bulgaria, also owns famous Châteaux’ in Bordeaux like Canon La Gaffelière, La Mondotte, Clos de L’Oratoire and Château Peyrau in Saint-Émilion, Clos Marsalette in Pessac Léognan, a stake in Château Guiraud in Sauternes, as well as Château d’Aiguilhe in Côtes de Castillon. This bottle was the second wine of Château d’Aiguilhe. Despite his many ventures, the Comte is known for his high-quality winemaking.
