Did anybody know? There’s wine in Myanmar!

Well, at least I didn’t know! It all started at the end of the 1990’s when Bert Morsbach, a German citizen imported the first vines to Myanmar, also called Burma. Today, the Aythaya vineyard is cultivated with various international grapes such as Syrah or Cabernet, but even the German grape Dornfelder and the Italian grape Moscato are being grown in this tropical climate.
