Walk up the stairs in a dark back street of Donghu Lu in the French Concession area of Shanghai…
… and you’ll end up in Craft Bar, a hip place with great Vodka cocktails and a somewhat underground kind-of feel.

Cocktails there were excellent, be it a Moscow Mule or a Dirty Martini (neither pictured).
Or drive over to Pudong, get up 300 meters above ground into the 87th floor of the Jin Mao Tower to find yourself in Cloud 9 Bar with a 360° view of the city (if weather is clear, which wasn’t the case for us).
