Domaine Terre Inconnue, Cuvée Léonie, Languedoc

This garage wine estate of the Languedoc is a phantom I’ve been chasing for years; or rather which is haunting me for years. I’ve known it from a wine store in Montpellier, where it wasn’t available anymore after a short period of time.

Then I saw it again in Paris in a certain wine store near the Madeleine, where I tried it and found it to be the best Languedoc wine I’ve ever had. This was in 2002 and since then I haven’t seen it anymore, but it always came back to my mind and I developed a craving for it.
In 2003 I even attempted to visit directly the estate, but in the small village of St- Sériès nobody knew about S. Creus or about Terre Inconnue. Read the rest of this entry »
