WOW, what a color! Now i know where the term “orange wine” comes from. This one couldn’t be more orange, it also appears very shiny, and somehow even reminds me the color of a matured German Riesling Beerenauslese.

WOW, ich hab ja schon öfter mehr als ordentliche Weine von Nachwuchswinzer Florian Fauth vom Weingut Seehof getrunken, aber so einen eindeutigen Aha-Effekt hatte ich nun zum ersten mal. Wahrscheinlich liegt es daran, dass dieser 2009er Westhofener Kirchspiel nach etwa 2 Jahren zum ersten mal die nötige Flaschenreife erlangt hat. Klar ist nun auch für mich, dass Florian Fauth eindeutig in der ersten Liga der rheinhessischen Winzer angekommen ist und somit einigen bekannten Grössen wie Keller oder Wittmann ziemlich nahe kommt.
